Mbps → MB/s converter

Mbps means megabits per second; MB/s means megabytes per second. The capital B matters: a byte contains eight bits, so divide Mbps by eight for the theoretical MB/s rate. Protocol overhead, Wi-Fi conditions and the destination disk can reduce measured throughput. MiB/s uses a binary byte multiple and is another distinct unit.
